It’s a delicate situation… I appreciate a POTUS who is cautious about what he says and when he says it. Leader of the Free World is a Tough Job, especially today.

A reporter on CNN last night who just came out of Iran after covering the election said Obama is right to not interject… His speaking out in support of the opposition may spur on supporters of the current regime an intensify the conflict and bloodshed.

But that was yesterday … today [2009.06.20] the gloves came off.

Arab countries the population is very small. For example S. Arabia, UAE, Qatar e.t.c, the ruling family gave “A LOT” of money to nationals, so they are pretty much happy with the gov. The rest of the population is from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and they are on work permit visa’s. These countries dont give passport like US would do. They only give work visas.

Iran has a pop of 70 mill, 40 or so mill are under 28. They dont have a ruling family. Its more complicated that this.

Why are all the international reporters a bunch of a fearful cowards?! Um, if I were a reporter in Tehran and the government sent me a fax that said “no reporting” I would say “Yeah, fuck you” and go out to the streets. Don’t they realize how important it is to get out there and show the world what’s going on?
