Maximum 21 years in jail, like here in Norway. We have got one of the lowest murder rates in the world.

  2. theprofessor172 says:

Norway doesn’t have anything even slightly similar to the drug problem America does.

  3. DorvellTStewart says:

    and you know this how?

  4. DorvellTStewart says:

Some local networks showed Rescue 911 syndicated on weekday afternoons. I remember my local FOX station showed it every weeknight at 6:00 PM, back-to-back with Real Stories of the Highway Patrol.

  7. gregorkrause says:

1:55 is one we all know, the policecar.

  8. gregorkrause says:

1:54 is the RED computer text, they should’ve included the BLUE JEANS ROOM ON FIRE segment.

  9. gregorkrause says:

    1:56 is the returning policecar.

  10. gregorkrause says:

0:02 should’ve never been used in this segment lol.

  11. gregorkrause says:

I wonder if non-us Rescue 9-1-1-’s use the scene at 0:48.

  12. gregorkrause says:

2:03 is a call we all know since were fans of Rescue 9-1-1-.

  13. gregorkrause says:

Do you think that (not to spoil the surprise) the animated policecar should’ve not been used?

  14. DorvellTStewart says:

    I don’t know.

    The officer is right.
If you’re going to last in Police work or Emergency Medicine, you have to find a way to handle what you see.
I handle ambulance work differently, because I can’t forget what I’ve seen. Instead, I don’t allow myself to feel responsible for the choices other people make.
I do everything I can, and I’m okay with that. I will not, under any circumstances, feel responsible for other people’s crimes.

  17. gregorkrause says:

2:42 is in opening the dead guy sequence.

  18. 1993zombie says:

    2:30 the ambulance.

  19. BrendanIsCool says:

  20. conmanduck says:

  21. leananshae says:

that is very first episode of 911
i’ve ever seen that didn’t have a “happy” ending. disturbing and not usual for this show.

  22. earnhardtlivesE says:

    yeah what about it?

  23. AFGSANFORD2 says:

I have a relative who is a cop & how he handles it is when he closes his patrol car door, thats it and everything stays there. As soon as he secures & stores his firearm, he is himself relaxing doing something, singing around the house or doing home improvement. He doesn’t think about anything bad that happened that day but he does not do road patrol either; lot’s of stress in the office.

  24. Singinyo says:

This was sad but its 2009 and thats still Baltimore!

  25. NDW85 says:

2 segments from this episode that I have on tape from 30 minute syndicated episodes are this one and the one where 2 siblings call the police when a burglar attempts to break in their house.
